On our first visit, we were warmly welcomed with an open menu and excellent service. The food presentation was also exceptional, making us eager to return and recommend this place to others. Breakfast connoisseurs this is a must try.
My husband and I split two entrees for breakfast this morning. We love supporting local and love the restaurants that are part of the Javi’s (Tacos) family! We have some pros and cons to share our take from this morning. Things we loved: the menu is full of variety, staff is kind and helpful, wait was only 15-20 mins despite it being packed on a busy Sunday morning. We got the Chorizo Skillet and the Churro Pancakes. The flavor in both the chorizo and the special churro pancake batter were great! We both thought the Chorizo Skillet was by far the better of the two dishes and will be ordering that again when we return. Things that could be even better: the toppings on the Churro Pancakes were sparse and left them pretty dry. We added syrup of course but we were hoping for more of the caramel, cinnamon sugar, and whipped creme to make them stand out as a real differentiator from the regular pancakes. The portion size of the Churro Pancakes also seemed a bit small for the price (although we get inflation is a thing). That being said, we enjoyed our experience this morning and will be going back! We love supporting local and are grateful to have a breakfast/brunch spot in this part of town that we can count on for quality food. Go out and show them your support!
We got the chorizo skillet! It was really good! Perfect blend of spices. Egg yolk running over jalapenos was so good! And also it came with pancakes. Really good deal for the plate. We will be going back. Excellent service. our waitress was perfect!
My daughter and I went to Time to Rise and Shine Elkhorn this morning and it was amazing! The kids pancakes were so good and fun. I got the farmers skillet plus gravy...delicious. To top it off our server Ellie was so sweet and helpful. My daughter asked if we could eat there everyday We will definitely be back!
The food was great! I got the Denver or ham and cheese skillet with pork green chili over the top and it was outstanding, really would have licked the plate if I was at home. That’s probably the pork green chili! So good!
This is my “go to” place for breakfast. I always order the “Mexican” breakfasts. They are always flavorful, healthy, and “thier” take on these breakfast dishes. You can’t go wrong.
We had been wanting to try this place but kept forgetting to. We are so happy we finally did. The service was amazing and the food was so good. It was hard deciding what I wanted to get. It is a little pricy but everything is now a days so it would cost just as much as going to McDonald's. We loved it. And the coffee was great. We got a skillet and country fried steak and eggs. We left over filled and happy. I'd highly recommend.
So excited to see another breakfast place pop up... and there is a bar (the Frosty Mug) attached for the afternoons! I had the Chorizo Loco Omelet, with sausage patties. It was listed as spicy, but I loved how flavourful it was. Sometimes you sacrifice taste for heat. I did dump some sour cream on top, just in case. Great food, great service. I'll be back with the family.
